We have introduced a national engagement recognition offering for Teacher's Ambassador Program members. This offering gives Teachers access to additional membership benefits based on their registered activities throughout the year.

Tiers (examples)

  • Foundation > All school staff are eligible for this tier
  • Gold > Host a sporting schools or social impact program or coach your school's netball team or school Principal
  • Diamond > Host a netball program or convene a netball competition or schoolboy/girl cup head coach

How can you get Engagement Recognition Points?
Engagement Recognition Points can registered and updated via your profile page (this can be access via Accounts> Profile) and ticking the activities that you have done throughout the year to receive points.  Please remember to:

  1. Upload evidence using the file upload sections to support your points claim 
  2. Save any updates on the page using the save button at the bottom of the page.

What type of activities do I need to do to receive Engagement Recognition Points?

School Netball Engagement 
  • Netball within core HPE program (netball specific, thematic or game sense units; sharing netball videos and resources within lessons to analyse and as examples) 
  • Netball within Sport/Co-curricular program (eg: intra/interschool sport, house programs, sports electives, option within Sports Academy)  
  • Netball included as part of Sports Academy 
  • Provided feedback on a Sporting Schools program 
  • Teacher or Member Organisation delivered Sporting Schools Program  
  • Member Organisation accredited Specialist Netball School (WA, SA, QLD, TASonly) 
  • Attend Member Organisation Delivered Schools Tournaments 
  • Lead a pilot program for new netball initiatives in school 
  • Provided feedback on a TAP program 
Netball Specific Accreditations 
Community Netball Connection 
  • Aligned with a local club or association 
  • Deliver after school clinics (in collaboration with Member Organisation) 
  • Share netball specific information for students and families to access outside of school hours via school/PE and sport noticeboard, school gym, newsletter. (This may link to local club and association, community netball events through to Diamonds/SSN engagement.) 
  • Community netball event delivered in collaboration with a school/on school grounds and Member Organisation (e.g.: WWNSG delivery centre afterschool, local netball club uses facilities, local coach runs come and try sessions) 
Professional Learning
  • Completed free Netball Learning Schools module 
  • Attended free webinar 
  • Attended NA or Member Organisation delivered session at teacher professional learning event 
  • Attended Member Organisation facilitated in-person Professional Learning Event  
  • Purchase and complete an advanced online netball learning module (Development Netball Coaching eLearn) 
  • Attend an MO delivered session at a teacher PD event 
  • Join curriculum development consultation session 
Other Engagement
  • Provide feedback on netball via surveys sent out by MO or NA 
  • Share a testimonial on LinkedIn about netball in schools 
  • Assist in pilot program development 
  • Present at a staff meeting about Netball in schools/community (both primary and secondary)

How can I check how many Engagement Level Points I currently have?
You can see how many Engagement Points you currently have via your profile page under the Engagement Recognition Points header.  Please note that this is currently a manual calculation so please refer to the date it was last updated.

How can I see what Engagement Tier Level I am on?
You can see the Engagement Tier Level you are currently on via the Accounts page under the Groups header on the left hand hand side of the page towards the bottom of the screen.

Do Engagement Recogntition Points expire?

What is happening with the Netball NSW Member tiers?
This will be transferred into this new national Engagement Recognition offering.

When do my points and recognition tiers get updated?
Once per month cadence checks (this may vary with each state or territory). Please review Terms and Conditions for further information.
