New Wellbeing Resources Now Available for Schools

Published Tue 08 Sep 2026

Netball Australia has launched two new wellbeing resources for schools this year: the Primary (3–6) Wellbeing for Growth Journal and the Secondary Wellbeing Toolkit. Developed to support the social, emotional, and physical wellbeing of young netballers, both resources use real netball scenarios to help students build the skills they need on and off the court.

The Primary journal is an interactive Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) resource for Years 3–6, covering goal setting, teamwork, handling mistakes, feelings check-ins, sleep, and nutrition, alongside colouring pages and puzzles for fun, hands-on learning. It's designed to be used flexibly in the classroom and aligns with the Australian Curriculum v9.0 (Health and Physical Education – Personal, Social and Community Health), with accompanying assessment rubrics for Years 3–4 and 5–6.

The Secondary toolkit takes students deeper into the mental side of the game, with tools for pre-game routines, emotional regulation, stress management, confidence building, and reframing negative self-talk, alongside sleep, recovery, and weekly reflection trackers to support athletes through the demands of training and competition. This is also designed to be used flexibly in the classroom and is similarly curriculum-aligned. This resource comes with a FREE teacher guide too!

Both resources are available now to schools participating in the Teacher Ambassador Program (TAP).
